Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in Solink’s company-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes. This role serves as a central point of coordination across Finance, Operations, R&D, and Product, partnering with leaders to align financial plans with strategic priorities and operational drivers.
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide insight and analysis that support executive decision-making, including consolidated management reporting, variance analysis, and Board- and committee-level materials. Through strong finance business partnering, integrated financial modeling, and continuous improvement of FP&A systems and processes, this role helps drive accountability, scalability, and informed decision-making across the organization.
Own the consolidation of the company-wide annual budget and rolling forecasts, partnering with department leaders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Act as the central point of coordination across Finance, Operations, R&D, and Product to challenge assumptions, improve forecast accuracy, and drive accountability.
Develop and maintain integrated financial models that link operational drivers to financial outcomes (ARR, headcount, margin, cash).
Lead variance analysis versus budget and forecast, translating results into clear insights and recommended actions for senior leadership.
Prepare high-quality financial decks and narratives for the Board of Directors and the Risk & Audit Committee, including KPIs, trends, risks, and forward-looking analysis.
Present consolidated budgets, forecasts, and performance updates to executive leadership, with direct exposure to the CEO.
Ensure financial storytelling is clear, concise, and decision-oriented, tailored to a Board and executive audience.
Serve as a trusted finance business partner to functional leaders, providing financial insight, challenge, and support on key initiatives.
Support investment decisions, pricing changes, hiring plans, and operational trade-offs through data-driven analysis.
Build strong cross-functional relationships to improve financial literacy, ownership, and performance across the organization.
Proactively identify risks and opportunities, escalating key issues with well-supported recommendations.
Own the monthly management reporting package, including financial results, KPI dashboards, and executive commentary.
Analyze performance drivers across revenue, cost structure, and margin, connecting financial results back to operational activity.
Continuously improve reporting cadence, structure, and automation to scale with the business.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring consistency between management reporting and statutory results.
Collaborate with Accounting on IFRS-related topics to ensure forecasts, budgets, and Board materials reflect accounting reality.
Assist in preparation for Risk & Audit Committee discussions by providing forward-looking risk assessments and sensitivity analyses.
Enhance FP&A models, forecasting tools, and reporting processes within NetSuite and related systems.
Drive automation and standardization of budget, forecast, and reporting workflows.
Support finance transformation initiatives that improve scalability, data quality, and decision support.
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
4+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or a related analytical role
Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, scenario modeling, automation)
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into business recommendations
Proven experience supporting sales or marketing functions in a SaaS or recurring revenue environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence non-financial stakeholders
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with attention to detail and deadlines
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
Understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, and net retention
Exposure to financial automation or AI-driven reporting tools
CPA, CFA, or MBA designation (asset but not required)
Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
