As our Senior Financial Analyst you'll be the financial architect behind smarter decisions and scalable systems. What You'll Do:
Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow across all channels, including Direct-to-Consumer (DTC), wholesale (three-tier), and direct-to-retail
Budgeting & Planning: Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecast updates, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support strategic initiatives and changes in business strategy or performance
Operational Partnership & Margin Optimization: Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support margin optimization through analysis of promotional ROI, pricing strategies, and margin improvements
Performance Analysis: Conduct monthly variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying and communicating key performance drivers across sales channels, inventory management, and cost structures
FP&A Process Development: Establish and document core FP&A processes, including SOPs and reporting cadences, ensuring accuracy in data flows from ERP and accounting systems as the business scales
Strategic & Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support key strategic initiatives, including new product launches, market expansion, and potential M&A opportunities
Must Haves:
21 years of age or older at the time of application
Based in Southern California or Austin, TX
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent relevant professional experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
Minimum of 2 years of experience within a CPG environment
Hands-on experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience performing variance analysis and margin analysis across products or channels
Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Experience working with ERP systems and/or BI tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Nice to Haves:
Experience building or scaling FP&A processes and reporting frameworks
Strong ability to translate complex financial analysis for non-finance stakeholders
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations
Prior exposure to regulated industries (alcohol, beverage, cannabis, or similar)
High attention to detail with a strong analytical mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Compensation, Benefits + Perks:
Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,00, per year
The final offer will be based on several factors, including experience, skills, overall expertise and location
