The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Finance Leader with strong commercial acumen to drive revenue growth and support strategic priorities across SEEK's markets. In this role, you will build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, providing strategic advice on monetisation and commercial growth initiatives, while delivering impactful financial insights to shape key business decisions. You will bring financial governance expertise, support revenue planning, and lead improvements in processes, systems, and forecasting capabilities. This role demands a confident and adaptable leader who can navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholder decisions, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong and credible stakeholder relationships with senior leaders and operational teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor and deliver on commercial finance business partnering objectives to support key company-wide strategic priorities, monetisation initiatives, commercial growth plans, go-to-market execution, long-term revenue planning, and other revenue growth objectives.
  • Drive financial governance, control and revenue expertise across above mentioned business partnering priorities to mitigate risks and influence commercial decisions.
  • Lead process and reporting improvement initiatives implementing system enhancements, automation, Al adoption and process optimisation to drive integrity and efficiency.
  • Represent the APAC revenue function in various commercial forums, providing executive-level strategic insights on performance, ROI and key business drivers
  • Support revenue planning and forecasting cycles across all SEEK markets, including risk and opportunity analysis with detailed driver insights

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Minimum of 10+ years post-qualifying experience (CA/CPA) in a preferably in a large complex organisation with demonstrated progression in commercial finance roles
  • Experience of leading a team within a commercial finance function with responsibilities covering financial planning and analysis, business partnering, and delivery of regular financial reporting
  • Robust understanding of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and revenue frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate difficult outcomes, including influencing senior leadership and driving consensus across competing priorities
  • Great communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for diverse stakeholder audiences at all levels
  • Strong business partnering and strategic advisory experience, with a track record of supporting investment decisions and providing financial insights that drive business outcomes
  • Advanced revenue modelling and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build key relationships across complex matrix organisations and foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to work within an agile environment and quickly shift direction to accommodate conflicting and ever-changing priorities, whilst maintaining high standards of financial control and driving a longer-term agenda for the team
  • Demonstrate curiosity in promoting a culture of innovation by piloting new approaches, testing prototypes and embracing digital capabilities into the finance function

Other Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Experience in a large and complex technology, software or digital advertising organisation would be highly regarded
  • Hands-on working experience with contemporary ERPs, CRMs and reporting systems (e.g. Workday, Salesforce, Oracle) and high skills at reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in the Asia-Pacific region
