We are searching for an experienced finance manager to lead the financial planning and analysis group and development pricing strategies for our diverse range of solutions and services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various contract types, including Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF,) Time & Materials (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP,) experience in forecasting, EAC management, monthly forecast versus actual analysis and will collaborate closely with internal teams to establish competitive and profitable pricing models.

What you will do:

  • Develop and review EACs: Design and build EAC models for new contracts and evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of existing EACs
  • Prepare monthly analysis: Develop a monthly recurring process whereby actuals are evaluated against budget and consolidate the financial results of several companies into one report for executive and ownership review
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with finance, product development, and sales teams to determine accurate internal costs for individual product lines and develop pricing strategies that reflect these insights.

Expected Accomplishments in the First Six Months:

  • Pricing Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with contracts and operations to identify industry best approaches to building pricing workbooks specific to our markets
  • Ownership of the Consolidated Financial Model: Work closely with the financial leaders from the various divisions to develop an overall consolidated financial model that includes actuals plus rest of year forecasts for the income statement, balance sheet and cash flows; this model will be updated monthly
  • Improve Financial Performance on Programs: Collaborate with program managers on their detailed monthly forecasts and estimates to complete, understand variances and estimate cash flow needs

Must Haves:

  • Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Proven experience as a finance manager, including FP&A, budgeting and pricing
  • In-depth knowledge of CPFF, T&M, and FFP contract structures.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use tools like Costpoint, Cognos, and other common government contracting software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office 
  • Constantly work with computers and other information technology equipment
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas in a classroom style format, may stand at a podium for long periods of time
