An exciting opportunity awaits you as Senior Finance Business Partner in our Finance, Strategy & Transformation team. The Senior Finance Business Partner is part of a team that enables all functions across Eurostar Group to manage financial performance, cash flow and capital expenditure to achieve budget targets and the longer-term strategic objectives of Eurostar Group. This is achieved by reporting accurate financial information, provision of insight from data analysis and provision of financial expertise to ExCo and their teams.

This permanent position can be based in either our London or Brussels office, with hybrid working (there is an expectation to be in the office 2 days per week).

Een boeiende kans wacht op je als Senior Finance Business Partner binnen ons team Finance, Strategy & Transformation. De Senior Finance Business Partner maakt deel uit van een team dat alle functies binnen de Eurostar Group ondersteunt bij het beheren van financiële prestaties, kasstromen en kapitaalinvesteringen om zowel budgetdoelstellingen als de langetermijnstrategische doelen van de Eurostar Group te realiseren. Dit gebeurt door het rapporteren van nauwkeurige financiële informatie, het leveren van inzichten op basis van data-analyse en het bieden van financiële expertise aan ExCo en hun teams.

Deze vaste functie kan worden ingevuld vanuit ons kantoor in Londen of Brussel, met hybride werken (waarbij wordt verwacht dat je 2 dagen per week op kantoor aanwezig bent).

Requirements

We’re looking for someone to:

• Support monthly close process, ensuring accurate cost reporting and commentary against budget and forecast.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Reporting teams to align cost recognition with IFRS and capitalisation rules.
• Lead quarterly performance reviews and drive delivery of the budgeting process for assigned business areas.
• Analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities, and prepare robust business cases for capital expenditure.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, provide tailored financial insights, and champion governance compliance.
• Partner with Procurement and business teams to optimise costs, mitigate overruns, and deliver efficiencies.
• Provide financial analysis and challenge for projects, translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Foster a high-performance environment, balancing priorities with resilience and emotional intelligence.

You'll need...

• An internationally recognised professional accountancy qualification, part qualification, or university equivalent.
• Ability to navigate change and operate in an ever changing environment.
• Advanced ability to think holistically about risks and opportunities and present persuasive recommendations.
• Strong influencing skills across Finance and non-Finance teams, including international stakeholders.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to simplify complex data for diverse audiences.
• Expertise in financial planning tools for budgets, forecasts, and reporting (Adaptive Planning is a plus).
• Proficiency in French is desirable but not essential.

Our stages for this recruitment process will include phone screening and a two-stage interview process.

• Samenwerkt met Procurement en business teams om kosten te optimaliseren, overschrijdingen te beperken en efficiënties te realiseren.
• Financiële analyses en kritische toetsing levert voor projecten en complexe data vertaalt naar concrete actiepunten.
• Een high-performance omgeving bevordert, met balans tussen prioriteiten, veerkracht en emotionele intelligentie.

Je hebt nodig…

• Een internationaal erkende professionele accountantskwalificatie, een gedeeltelijke kwalificatie of een gelijkwaardig universitair diploma.
• Het vermogen om om te gaan met verandering en te functioneren in een continu veranderende omgeving.
• Het vermogen om risico’s en kansen integraal te beoordelen en overtuigende aanbevelingen te presenteren.
• Sterke beïnvloedingsvaardigheden binnen Finance en niet-Finance teams, inclusief internationale stakeholders.
• Uitstekende probleemoplossende en analytische vaardigheden om complexe data te vereenvoudigen voor diverse doelgroepen.
• Ervaring met financiële planningstools voor budgettering, forecasting en rapportage (ervaring met Adaptive Planning is een plus).
• Beheersing van de Franse taal is een pré, maar geen vereiste.

De selectieprocedure bestaat uit een telefonische screening en een interviewproces in twee rondes.
