We’re looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance Central Services – Product Ledger team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our IFRS 17 financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, insight, and strong financial controls. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across change programmes, Product Ledger, and wider finance teams, helping us embed a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality delivery. What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the IFRS 17 month‑end accounting process, preparing accurate manual journals and data feeds
  • Completing and supporting IFRS 17 reconciliations and investigating differences in line with reporting deadlines
  • Working with change programmes to define requirements and implement solutions for data capture and reconciliation processes
  • Reviewing end‑to‑end processes, identifying issues and opportunities, and driving continuous improvement activities
  • Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance with group standards, statutory requirements, and risk frameworks
  • Keeping procedure notes up to date and supporting internal or external audit activity
  • Ensuring finance processes and MI support fair customer outcomes in line with company policies
  • Collaborating with colleagues across finance to deliver high‑quality reporting and operational effectiveness

Who we’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a finance environment and/or progress towards an accounting qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with core accounting systems, ledger postings or reconciliations (advantageous)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure thinking and draw clear conclusions
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work
  • Confidence working with large data sets and experience using tools such as Power Query (advantageous)
  • Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to assess processes and recommend enhancements
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
