Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager to own and scale our field marketing strategy across the public sector, federal, and aerospace & defense markets. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for an experienced field marketer who knows how to design, execute, and optimize events that convert—from executive advisory dinners and roundtables to trade shows, partner events, and owned experiences.

You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of field marketing execution: event strategy, audience targeting, onsite execution, sales alignment, and post-event conversion. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands the government contracting ecosystem, knows which events actually matter, and thrives in a fast-moving, growth-stage SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the field marketing strategy for public sector and federal audiences, with a strong emphasis on pipeline creation and expansion.

  • Plan, host, and attend high-impact events, including:

    • Executive advisory dinners and roundtables

    • Networking and peer-to-peer dinners

    • Trade shows, conferences, and sponsored events

    • Partner and ecosystem events

  • Independently manage event logistics end-to-end, including booth strategy, onsite execution, staffing, and messaging.

  • Design account-based field marketing programs, identifying exactly which accounts, personas, and buying committees to target.

  • Partner closely with Sales, SDRs, and Leadership to align events with GTM priorities and revenue goals.

  • Develop and execute post-event conversion strategies, ensuring leads turn into meetings, opportunities, and pipeline.

  • Continuously evaluate which events and formats produce the best ROI—and double down on what works.

  • Think creatively and outside the box to design new, differentiated field marketing experiences that stand out in the GovCon market.

  • Track and report on field marketing performance, including pipeline influence, sourced revenue, and conversion metrics.

Ideal Candidate

  • A senior, hands-on field marketer who has personally owned and executed events, not just managed agencies or vendors.

  • Deep familiarity with the government contracting ecosystem, including federal agencies, primes, subs, and GovCon buying behavior.

  • Strong understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) and targeted GTM motions.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building programs from scratch.

  • Strategic thinker who is also execution-oriented and willing to roll up their sleeves.

  • Collaborative partner to Sales and Leadership, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Energized by building something new in a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS company.

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in field marketing, with senior-level ownership of programs.

  • Demonstrated success running field marketing for public sector and/or federal markets.

  • Proven experience designing events that drive measurable pipeline and revenue.

  • Experience with account-based marketing strategies and targeted account selection.

  • Ability to travel to and attend industry events as needed.

  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a federal background check.

  • 4 year degree

Desired Experience

  • Experience in SaaS, preferably at a growth-stage or venture-backed company.

  • Familiarity with aerospace & defense, national security, or adjacent federal verticals.

  • Experience collaborating closely with Sales, RevOps, and executive leadership.

  • Comfort working with CRM and marketing automation tools to support post-event conversion.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary with equity options in a rapidly growing, venture-backed company.

  • Comprehensive health benefits for you and your family.

  • Flexible work arrangements, with a strong focus on the DMV area.

  • Significant opportunity for career growth and leadership impact as the company scales.
