Senior Executive, Influencer Marketing

We’re looking for a Senior Influencer Marketing Executive based in Kuala Lumpur to lead strategic campaigns, manage key influencer relationships and collaborate across teams. What You'll Do 

  • Develop end-to-end influencer marketing strategies aligned with brand, product, or campaign objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (D2C, Account Management (Agency/ Direct) and Digital Marketing) to integrate influencer marketing into broader campaigns.
  • Identify, vet, and recruit influencers that align with brand values and campaign goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key influencers and talent agencies.
  • Negotiate contracts, usage rights, exclusivity, and deliverables.
  • Manage influencer campaign timelines, ensuring on-time deliverables and high-quality content.
  • Oversee content approval processes and ensure brand messaging is consistent and compliant.
  • Create detailed post-campaign reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, platform algorithm changes, creator economy news, and cultural shifts.
  • Advise clients or internal teams on innovative influencer formats (e.g., live shopping, co-branded content, UGC, TikTok trends).
  • Lead internal brainstorms or workshops on influencer best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and feedback on campaign execution.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 2 Year Experience: Prior experience in Influencer Marketing, Talent Management, or within a Media/Advertising Agency setting is required. A strong understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem is a must.
  • Highly Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organisational & Project Management Skills: Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute multiple influencer campaigns simultaneously—ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are consistently met.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for crafting clear campaign briefs, reports, and professional correspondence with clients and creators.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite: Confident in using Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Drive) for documentation, collaboration, and presentations.
  • Creative & Strategic Mindset: Ability to think creatively while aligning with brand strategy—comfortable brainstorming content ideas, adapting to shifting campaign goals, and reacting quickly to market trends.
  • Team Player with Flexibility: A collaborative mindset with the willingness to jump in wherever needed. Adaptable, responsive, and open to feedback in a dynamic, ever-changing industry.
