Position Purpose

To make the employee experience real and meaningful every day; especially on the retail floor where it matters most. This role brings our culture to life through practical touchpoints and energizing communications that strengthen engagement and team connection. Partnering closely with retail & sales and marketing leaders, you will enable them while keeping Talent & Excitement (HR) operations consistent, smooth, and compliant across the full employee lifecycle.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Growth

  • Drive retail hiring as a key priority and business partner the retail team; partner line managers to build strong frontline teams through end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers), ensuring speed, quality and a great candidate experience.
  • Support office hiring needs across Sales & Marketing / local functions, manage end-to-end recruitment and provide hiring guidance to ensure we bring in the right talent for business growth.

 

HR Advisory & Employee Relations

  • Be the go-to bridge between employees and managers; keeping communication clear, consistent, and ensuring everyone stays aligned on company policies and practices.
  • Respond to employee enquiries confidently and provide practical guidance in line with local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Support smooth resolution of employee relations matters; mediate disputes, coach managers on corrective actions, and coordinate disciplinary processes when required.

 

HR Operations & Systems

  • Own HRIS data accuracy and integrity, and partner with the Regional CoE to enhance system functionality and user experience.

 

Employee Lifecycle & HR Documentation

  • Coordinate seamless pre-onboarding, onboarding, and off-boarding experiences to support a great employee journey.
  • Prepare, issue, and maintain proper filing of all HR official letters (e.g., offer, confirmation, increments, bonus, promotion, disciplinary, resignation acceptance).
  • Support immigration and employment pass processes (e.g., work permits/visas) where applicable
  • Administer government funding claims accurately and on time, liaising with relevant authorities as required.
  • Plan and run employee engagement activities, and support company events and other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related discipline with 3 to 6 years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure in retail/frontline hiring and employee lifecycle operations (office hiring experience is a plus).
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end recruitment for high-volume roles and multiple stakeholders; sourcing, interviewing, offers, and onboarding coordination.
  • HRIS-savvy and operationally strong; detail-oriented and execution-driven, able to maintain data accuracy, manage HR admin/training/funding smoothly.
  • Experience handling employee relations matters (e.g., grievances, conflict management, investigations support, corrective actions / disciplinary processes) with maturity and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence and partner line managers across Retail and Office teams.
  • Resourceful, positive and collaborative team player who enjoys building employee experience through engagement activities and internal communications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); comfortable with reporting and tracking (e.g., hiring funnels, vacancy dashboards, onboarding status).
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven; takes ownership, moves fast, and follows through to deliver outcomes with quality.
  • High-energy and positive; solution-focused, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail and office environment.
  • Passionate about the beauty industry and a strong team player; collaborative, supportive, and committed to shared success.
