As a Senior Executive Assistant, you will be a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team, supporting seamless operations, effective decision-making, and execution of key priorities. While we are a remote-first company, this role includes responsibility for office management and operations. As a result, the Senior Executive Assistant is expected to work from our downtown Toronto office two days per week.

Areas You’ll Own

Executive & Personal Support

  • Manage the CEO’s inbox, prioritize communications, and draft responses to ensure seamless correspondence.
  • Oversee complex scheduling, meeting coordination, and agenda preparation.
  • Provide personal assistance (e.g., travel planning, appointments) to streamline the CEO’s daily workflow.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials for key meetings.


Leadership Coordination & Communication

  • Serve as the central liaison between the CEO and the leadership team.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by tracking action items and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Plan and coordinate leadership offsites, internal meetings, and key company events.


Office Management & Workplace Operations

  • Own day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth, well-functioning workplace environment.
  • Manage relationships with building management, vendors, and service providers.
  • Oversee office supplies, equipment, and space needs, anticipating issues and resolving them proactively.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding, event planning, and other logistics in partnership with People Ops 


Special Projects & Workflow Support

  • Owning master access to sensitive, high-impact, systems such as Shopify, Paypal, and GSuite 
  • Assist in coordinating projects of special interest to leadership by scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and tracking progress.
  • Support project leads with research and data collection to inform decision-making.
  • Monitor project timelines and updates to ensure milestones are met


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting a CEO or senior executive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively with incomplete or evolving information.
  • Proven track record of owning complex, high-impact initiatives beyond traditional administrative support.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high bar for clarity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • High degree of comfort managing sensitive information and trusted access to executive- and company-critical systems.
  • Proficiency with modern productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Asana or similar).
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first company while being available for in-office responsibilities in our downtown Toronto office as required.

At Juniper, our compensation philosophy is to offer fair pay that reflects the scope of the role, level of impact, individual experience, and the current stage of the company.


The annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 CAD, plus an annual performance-based bonus.


Where an offer lands within this range depends on a number of factors, including experience, skills, role scope, and expected impact. Our ranges are intentionally broad to support growth over time and reflect that base salary is one part of a broader total compensation package.

As scope and impact grow, compensation can evolve through salary progression and performance-based bonuses. We review compensation on a quarterly basis to ensure it continues to align with both company growth and individual development.
