Senior Event Specialist

Senior Event Specialist (Bangkok) 

(1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

The role of the Senior Event Specialist is to drive the overall delivery and management of a series of live events over a year. Your role will include unpacking the project brief, scoping the project, allocating the necessary resources and budget, and ensuring that all work (from creative concepts to logistics and technical) delivers against agreed objectives and surpasses project expectations.

Role: 

• Oversee all aspects of event & experience management and production, from content and program development, design, AV production, vendor management, logistics, invitations, sponsorships, promotions and more. 
• Run and oversee project timelines, action items/ deliverables, and budgets throughout all projects and events.
• Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships, including agencies, for the assigned program (clear communication on expectations, responsibilities, schedule, status/AIs, etc.), and ensure that needs are heard, understood and addressed promptly. 
• Be a team player, and assist the broader team on larger projects, including event production team logistics, running team meetings, and project management efforts as needed. 
• Build and maintain effective relationships with agency partners / external stakeholders.
  

You:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in all facets of event management from an event agency 
• Strong track record of success in events project management: manage, plan, organise and execute a wide range of successful events from inception to completion, within budget. 
• Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to oversee multiple events concurrently in a timely and accurate manner, on budget 
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with agencies, colleagues and suppliers.
• International event management experience

• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in Thai.
