LaBella is currently seeking an Environmental Project Manager for our Environmental Division in our Permitting & Compliance Department. The proper candidate should be self-sufficient, organized, have experience managing large projects, and maintaining existing clients. We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead experienced teams of subject matter experts on large electric transmission line projects and are excited to hear what you could bring to our team and projects.
Hybrid (home/office) work schedules are available for this position.
Duties:
• Manage permitting efforts for large electric transmission line projects
• Assist with managing environmental permitting tasks for smaller development projects
• Coordinate and manage environmental field studies, technical documents, and permit applications
• Manage project schedules with a focus on proactive planning and critical path issue identification and mitigation
• Work with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
• Work with other project stakeholders such as engineers, real estate, public outreach, etc.
• Maintain and manage the client relationship
• Prepare proposals for ongoing work and be accountable for project budgets and invoicing
• Manage and mentor junior level staff
Requirements
• Minimum BS or BA in Environmental, Ecology, or Biology
• 8+ years of experience in project management
• Ability to research regulation and advise on appropriate approaches to permitting or process challenges and risks
• Ability to create, review, edit, and provide QA/QC for technical documents
• Experience cost estimating and proposing projects
• Must be self-sufficient and self-motivated
• Must be comfortable being a firm representative (i.e. maintain, pursue, and establish client business relationships)
• Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
