Senior Engineer (WFH, Backend & Full-Stack)

Remote | Full-time

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer who ships fast, thinks clearly, and solves real problems. No fluff. No red tape. Just strong engineers building software that matters.

What You’ll Do

• Own features end-to-end — from idea to production
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code
• Identify and fix performance and reliability bottlenecks
• Work closely with product and ops to ship pragmatically, not perfectly

Tech Stack

Backend

• FastAPI, Pydantic
• Postgres
• SQLAlchemy (nice to have, not a blocker)

Frontend 

• React, Next.js
• TypeScript
• Zustand, Tailwind CSS

You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you must be comfortable learning fast and operating independently.

What You Bring

• 8-10+ years of hands-on engineering experience
• Strong depth in Python/Go and TypeScript/JS
• Experience building and scaling production systems
• Sharp problem-solving skills — frameworks are tools, not the point
• Clear communicator, low ego, high ownership
• Able to juggle priorities without hand-holding

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS, infra, or performance optimisation
• Strong opinions on system design (and the ability to defend them)
• Side projects or open-source work you’re proud of
