Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering to join our dynamic team in Shenzhen, China. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering department, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead process optimization efforts to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards
  • Develop and implement quality control methods to ensure consistent product specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential issues in manufacturing processes
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives by regularly reviewing processes and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement improvements
  • Optimize equipment performance and work with maintenance teams to implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and changes to facilitate analysis and audits
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies and methods into existing workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing roles, preferably in the process engineer sector
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization techniques, and quality management systems
  • Proficiency in process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and 8D problem-solving methodology
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot process and product issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Proficiency in analyzing process and product performance data, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing improvements
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to manufacturing processes
  • Experience with project management in manufacturing environments
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Eagerness to stay updated with advancements in technology and manufacturing processes
  • Strong growth mindset and willingness to learn and take on new challenges
