In this role, you will lead the creation and execution of newsletter content strategies designed to engage audiences, drive traffic, and support monetization initiatives. You will craft compelling, accurate, and on-brand stories across multiple digital platforms, including newsletters, podcasts, and social media. This position requires creativity, editorial judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Audience Development and Commerce, to optimize content performance and enhance reader experience. The role offers autonomy, impact, and the opportunity to shape newsletter initiatives that educate, inspire, and convert audiences. You will contribute directly to building meaningful connections with readers while supporting business objectives.
Accountabilities:
Develop, write, and execute newsletter content strategies that engage readers and support monetization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with audience insights, commerce goals, and platform initiatives
Repurpose social and multimedia content to enhance newsletter offerings and extend reach
Contribute to podcast content strategies, including supporting newsletters that promote episodes and listener engagement
Monitor audience and performance data to refine content strategy and optimize engagement metrics
Ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and meets editorial standards across all channels
Requirements:
7+ years of digital writing and editing experience, preferably with health, wellness, news, or lifestyle brands
Proven experience writing and editing newsletter content and multi-platform digital initiatives
Strong understanding of performance and audience data to guide content decisions
Exceptional editorial judgment with the ability to simplify complex information into engaging, accessible content
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with AI tools for content support
Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, with attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field
