Senior Editor, Bioprocessing Thought Leadership

This role is based in our London office

Media Visibility and Thought-Leadership (45%)

  • Lead thought-leadership initiatives across multimedia and social media formats, including written content, podcasts, and videos.
  • Build and maintain a trusted network with existing and potential clients, consistently promoting the brand through events, social media, and on stage.
  • Moderate discussions at internal and relevant external events.
  • Act as a media expert during sales calls.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, conferences, and sister brands to drive sponsored product initiatives and media growth.

Industry and Community Relationship Building (20%)

  • Develop strong relationships with key industry experts, researchers, public and investor relations professionals, and thought leaders.
  • Foster engagement and build connections within the broader community.

Content Planning and Acquisition (20%)

  • Work closely with the editorial team to plan thematic content and address strategic content gaps.
  • Provide coverage for content gaps as needed.
  • Proactively write or recruit high-quality technical articles, thought-leadership pieces, and industry profiles.

Team Lead Strategy and Management (10%)

  • Guide and implement strategies for multimedia and social media content, ensuring alignment with team goals.
  • Mentor team members to develop their skills in content creation and management.
  • Oversee managerial responsibilities for Managing Editor/Editor roles.

Editing (5%)

  • Perform developmental editing for contributed articles and proofread content for final posting, as required.
  • Strong industry knowledge and proven networking capabilities.
  • Experience in creating multimedia and social media content to drive engagement.
  • Understanding of digital and web-based media presentation to support commercial opportunities.
