PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
The eCommerce Content Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring that digital content is accurately built, scheduled, and maintained across the company’s eCommerce platforms. This role bridges creative design, front-end implementation, and operational execution to deliver a seamless customer experience. 
 
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: 
 
  • Content Setup & Scheduling

Manage scheduling of content assets and page components to align with campaign timelines, seasonal updates, and product launches. 

Upload, configure, and schedule digital content assets within the Content Management System (CMS).

Ensure timely deployment of campaigns, seasonal updates, and product content.

  • Page Creation & Customization

Build and publish custom landing pages and promotional experiences beyond standard templates, collaborating with product and creative teams. Collaborate with UX and design teams to bring creative concepts to life.

  • Front-End Development

Write and edit HTML and CSS to implement content assets, banners, and page layouts.
Prepare, slice and optimize web graphics to be used in HTML assets. Ensure code quality, responsiveness, accessibility standards and alignment with brand guidelines.

  • Quality Assurance

Conduct thorough QA of content assets, landing pages, and promotional setups for responsiveness across devices and browsers. Troubleshoot and resolve content display issues before launch.

  • Promotions & Campaign Management

Configure promotions, discounts, and marketing campaigns in the eCommerce platform. Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product, Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, UX, product, and IT teams to optimize content workflows. Provide input on content process improvements and best practices.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 
  • 5 years of experience with Content Management Systems (HCL Commerce, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Test & Target, Sitecore, Shopify Plus, etc.).
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS; basic JavaScript a plus.
  • Experience with Photoshop, the Adobe Creative suite or similar image editing software a plus.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and promotional setup.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
  • Analytical mindset for handling multiple priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
