We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director or VP of Employee Success to lead our people operations, employee experience, and total rewards functions. This role will own the People Business Partner (PBP) function, People Operations, Total Rewards, Talent Management and compliance, while partnering closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless employee experience.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring that our people programs scale with our growth and reinforce our culture.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing employee success team
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CPO and executive team on all matters related to employee experience and organizational health
Drive culture initiatives and employee engagement programs that reinforce company values
Lead change management efforts for organizational transformations and scaling challenges
Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure success across all employee success work streams
Lead and develop a team of People Business Partners who serve as strategic advisors to business leaders across the organization
Partner with executives and managers to diagnose organizational challenges, drive leadership effectiveness, and enable team performance
Design and implement talent strategies including succession planning, organizational design, and workforce planning
Coach leaders through complex employee relations situations, performance management, and organizational change
Drive alignment between business strategy and people initiatives, translating business needs into actionable people programs
Own end-to-end employee lifecycle operations including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS administration, and employee data management
Build and scale operational processes that are efficient, compliant, and create exceptional employee experiences
Implement and optimize people systems and technology to support growing headcount and operational needs
Establish metrics and analytics to measure operational efficiency, employee experience, and identify areas for improvement
Lead leave administration, accommodations, and employee services programs
Develop and oversee comprehensive total rewards strategy including compensation philosophy, equity programs, benefits, and recognition
Lead annual compensation planning cycles including merit, equity refreshes, and market adjustments
Support Total Rewards team members with market benchmarking and competitive analysis to ensure our rewards programs attract and retain top talent
Design and manage benefits programs that support employee wellbeing and align with company values
Partner with Finance on headcount planning, budget management, and ROI analysis of people programs
Ensure pay equity and conduct regular compensation audits
Collaborate closely with TA leadership to ensure seamless handoffs from offer acceptance through onboarding
Provide workforce planning insights to inform recruiting strategy and hiring priorities
Support employer branding and candidate experience initiatives that reflect employee experience reality
Partner on new hire onboarding programs that accelerate time-to-productivity
Share market intelligence and compensation data to support competitive offer strategies
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years leading multiple HR functions
Proven track record of building and scaling employee success functions in high-growth environments
Deep expertise across People Business Partnering, People Operations, Total Rewards, and compliance
Experience managing teams of people professionals across multiple disciplines
Deep expertise in role design, workforce planning, and scaling recruiting for multi-site and multi-state organizations including forecasting hiring needs based on business growth, clinic openings, patient volume, and care model shifts
Strong operational and data-driven mindset, with mastery of recruiting analytics, funnel optimization, and KPI management.
Familiarity with state-specific employment laws and compliance requirements (NY and CA strongly preferred).
Exceptional communication, influence, and leadership skills, with a track record of building trust and alignment at the executive level.
Proficiency with modern People team technology platforms and a demonstrated commitment to process and candidate experience innovation.
Experience developing and owning an employee experience strategy that resonates across diverse functions and talent markets

Our strategy is based on robust market research, including external advisory specializing in national compensation, and thoughtful input from every level of our organization. It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $180,000-$240,000.
