We're seeking a strategic product leader to own and drive our Identity and Data Licensing Product portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll be accountable for the full P&L and strategic direction of products that power onboarding/data ingestion, identity resolution, data licensing and data products, and distribution to where and how our clients want to interact with Samba. You’ll build and lead a team of product owners across this portfolio.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Portfolio Leadership & Strategy
Own the vision, roadmap, and business outcomes for the Identity and Data Licensing Product portfolio, balancing investment across innovation, optimization, and technical debt
Drive portfolio-level prioritization and resource allocation decisions with clear ROI frameworks
Define and monitor key performance metrics including adoption, customer satisfaction, revenue, and operational efficiency
Develop go-to-market strategies in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a team of Product Owners, providing coaching on prioritization, stakeholder management, and execution
Foster a culture of data-driven decision making, customer empathy, and operational excellence
Establish product development best practices and rituals across your portfolio
Build team capacity and capabilities to scale with business growth
Cross-Portfolio Collaboration
Act as both a customer and producer to other product portfolios—understanding dependencies and ensuring seamless integration
Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and TV Platform teams to ensure technical feasibility and architectural alignment
Cultivate strong go-to-market motions with product marketing partners
Collaborate with commercial teams to translate customer needs into product requirements and influence pricing/packaging strategies
Incorporate a global lens in decision making by working with International teams and product management
Maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors in the identity and data ecosystem
Customer & Market Focus
Serve as the voice of the customer for identity and data products, synthesizing feedback from advertisers, agencies, publishers, platforms, etc., and internal stakeholders
Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends (privacy regulations, browser changes, identity solutions)
Drive customer adoption and satisfaction through thoughtful product design and clear communication
WHO YOU ARE
10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years leading product teams in ad tech, identity, or data products
Deep understanding of consumer identity, data licensing, products, and marketplaces, clean rooms and data sharing
Proven track record of managing products as a business—owning outcomes, not just outputs
Experience working in complex B2B environments where your products integrate with multiple internal and external systems
Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear strategic recommendations
Exceptional stakeholder management—able to influence without authority and build consensus across technical and commercial teams
Experience with Agile product development methodologies and modern product tooling
Preferred Experience
Background in identity and/or data licensing/products in the advertising ecosystem
Familiarity with privacy-preserving technologies and emerging identity solutions
Experience managing products through significant regulatory or platform changes
Technical background or ability to engage deeply with engineering teams on architecture decisions
This role requires someone who can think like a GM—owning business outcomes, making tough tradeoffs, and building alignment—while staying deeply connected to the technical and customer realities that drive success in ad tech.
