We’re looking for a Senior Digital Experience Designer who can turn strategy into clear, high-performing digital experiences. This role is for someone who understands how design decisions impact clarity, usability, and conversion, and who brings strong judgment to every phase of the work.
You will collaborate closely with strategy, copy, and development to shape full-funnel digital experiences for SaaS and tech-forward clients. The work often starts with imperfect inputs and evolving direction, so comfort with ambiguity and the ability to think independently are critical. You should be confident in challenging assumptions, asking better questions, and guiding clients toward smarter outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead or support UX and UI design for full websites and core digital experiences, from early structure through high-fidelity execution
- Translate strategy decks, documentation, and loose artifacts into clear, usable, and well-considered designs in Figma
- Collaborate with strategists, copywriters, and developers to ensure design decisions align with brand, messaging, and performance goals
- Design and optimize landing pages, lead generation flows, and conversion paths using CRO best practices
- Launch, evaluate, and iterate on A and B and multivariate tests using performance data to inform design decisions
Analyze heatmaps, scroll maps, and funnels to identify UX friction and propose thoughtful improvements
- Create supporting digital assets such as paid media, email, social, and modular web components when needed
Build and iterate landing pages in tools like Unbounce or Instapage
Maintain brand consistency across digital touchpoints while knowing when to push creative boundaries in service of results
- Thoughtfully explore and apply AI-assisted tools to improve speed, quality, or process when appropriate
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital experience design, UX, UI, or performance-focused web design
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and modern design systems
- Hands-on experience with CRO tools such as Unbounce, Instapage, Hotjar, or similar
- A portfolio that shows end-to-end thinking and clear reasoning behind decisions
- Comfort working with ambiguity, evolving strategy, and imperfect inputs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions to internal teams and clients
- Excellent attention to detail, including copy awareness and basic proofreading
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently as a contractor
Nice to Have
- Experience working with B2B SaaS, AI, or complex platforms
- Agency experience in multi-disciplinary environments
- Familiarity with performance marketing, SEO, CRO, or front-end constraints
- Experience collaborating closely with developers
- Remote-first working experience

Location: Remote, US-based
Rate: $50 to $80 per hour, based on experience
