Senior Digital Creative Designer (Marketing)

AI overview

Lead the transformation of creative output across digital channels like Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, enhancing brand storytelling through high-performing visual assets.

The Opportunity

At OES we are on the lookout for a Senior Digital Creative Designer to help shape the future of our in-house creative capability. We are looking for someone that understands how ideas move students through a funnel from first impression to enrolment. Someone who knows that great creative isn’t just beautiful, it’s platform-fit, audience-led, and performance-driven.

This is a hands-on senior role for a designer who can think like a marketer, tell strong visual stories, and elevate the creative capability of a growing in-house team. You will play a pivotal role in transforming our creative output across paid and organic channels. You’ll lead the development of digital-first, platform-fit creative across paid and organic channels including Meta, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and display, balancing brand, performance, and storytelling. You’ll be responsible for how ideas come to life, not just how assets look.

This role requires someone to understand content, intent, and strategy, not just execution.

This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll:

  • Lead the creation of high-performing digital assets (static, motion, UGC-style, short-form video)
  • Translate campaign briefs into compelling creative executions that align to audience intent and marketing objectives
  • Mentor junior designers and elevate creative quality, craft and consistency
  • Collaborate across Marketing, Performance Media, Learning Design, and Content teams
  • Contribute to creative testing, optimisation, innovation, using insights and performance data to improve outcomes
  • Play a role in shaping the student experience through thoughtful, audience-first creative

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital design, ideally in performance marketing or agency settings
  • Understands platform behaviour and performance-led creative
  • Has strong experience designing for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and display
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma
  • Is confident in motion design, short-form video and UGC-style content
  • Thinks strategically but loves being hands-on
  • Deep understanding of full-funnel creative strategy
  • A collaborative mindset and mentoring experience
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates easily with marketers and strategists
