(Senior) DFT and ATPG Engineer (f/m/d)

To further strengthen our Automotive Sensors business comprising Sensor ASICs, Sensor ASSPs, Position Sensors, LiDAR ASICs and Environmental Sensors, we are currently looking for an experienced Design Engineer (F/M/D),  to join our engineering team in Dresden or Munich, Germany, focused on digital DFT implementation, ATPG and interface to test for our design in new and next generation ICs, integrated sensors, innovations, power and mixed signal technologies besides supporting modifications to existing products.

 

Your Role:

  •  Drive DFT implementation in the digital design and mixed signal IC for AASBD products
  • Understand the functionality of the different DFT implementation
  • Implement DFT functionalities in digital design by using state of the art EDA tools.
  • Generating test pattern for the digital part of the designs, using state of the art EDA tools according to Renesas product development process following best practices from the industry
  • Verify ATPG pattern in post layout simulation.
  • Support the test development engineering group with  ATE (Automatic Test equipment) file requirements for pattern generation

 

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics, Microsystems or similar
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of demonstrated experience in DFT implementation and ATPG flow
  • Fundamental knowledge on Semiconductor Device Physics and Microelectronics is required
  • Experience with Mentor test implementation tools
  • Experience with simulation tools
  • Understanding of ATE pattern generation format ( stil, vcd …)
  • High level of self-motivation, drive, open-mindedness and teamwork skills are desired
  • Good communication and technical reporting skills, both written and oral
  • Fluent in English is a must and German knowledge would be a plus
