We are looking for a Senior Kubernetes engineer to help design, build, and operate our on-premises and hybrid Kubernetes platform. This role is part of our Platform Engineering and Infrastructure Reliability teams and will focus on running Kubernetes at scale on bare-metal and integrated environments.
You’ll work on automation, observability, performance tuning, and security to make sure our platform is reliable and ready for mission-critical workloads.

Responsabilities

Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters on-premises at enterprise scale.
Automate cluster lifecycle and application management with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps tools.
Tune clusters for performance on bare-metal hardware (CPU, memory, and networking).
Implement Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, network policies, pod security).
Build monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and logging stacks.
Contribute to incident response and postmortems, helping improve reliability over time.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE roles.
Strong hands-on experience running Kubernetes on-premises in production environments.
Good knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and container runtimes.
Familiarity with Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, or similar automation/GitOps tools.
Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/EFK.
Comfortable troubleshooting and tuning Kubernetes clusters.

Nice to Have

Experience integrating Kubernetes with OpenStack.
Familiarity with Rancher and Rancher add-ons (Fleet, Longhorn, CIS Scanning).
Knowledge of compliance-driven environments (PCI, SOC2, FedRAMP).
Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKS, or similar).
