Job Summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead efforts to design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, enhance system reliability, and optimize performance. Your role will involve automating workflows, managing cloud environments, and ensuring continuous integration and delivery practices are upheld. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions in cloud environments.
• Lead the automation of deployment processes, ensuring efficient continuous integration and delivery.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new services and features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address potential issues.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the organization's DevOps practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in DevOps engineering, including infrastructure design, automation, and cloud management.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on cloud environments. Azure stack experience is necessary.
• Technical Skills: 
  • Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Extensive experience with the Azure cloud stack and its services.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell/Python for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with JSON manipulation for policy and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS etc)
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Leadership: Proven experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers.
