Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 7 plus years of hands-on experience in managing and scaling infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in operating systems, networking, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps practices that ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
• Optimize resource utilization and implement cost-effective solutions.
2. Container Orchestration:
• Build, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for deploying containerized applications.
• Optimize workload scheduling, scaling, and monitoring in Kubernetes environments.
3. Configuration Management & Automation:
• Implement and maintain automation tools and frameworks like Ansible.
• Develop and enforce configuration management best practices.
4. Networking:
• Configure and manage secure network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, and firewalls.
• Ensure optimal network performance and connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
5. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Develop, deploy, and manage infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Maintain version control and ensure repeatable, auditable deployments.
6. Monitoring and Incident Management:
• Implement monitoring tools for system health, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
7. Collaboration:
• Work closely with development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and integrate DevOps best practices.
• Act as a mentor for junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7 minimum years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS (EKS and API Gateway).
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix (Redhat and Debain based)
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts: DNS, Load Balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Expertise in IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. ELK Stack, Grafana).
• Very strong understanding on SSL standards and encryption

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with security compliance frameworks and tools.
• Have worked in high throughput environments.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and related best practices.
• Knowledge on handling infra with compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOCII
