Senior DevOps Engineer

BlackStone eIT is excited to announce an opening for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in DevOps practices to enhance our software delivery process through automation, optimization, and robust monitoring systems.

Your responsibilities will include architecting our cloud infrastructure, implementing effective CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting application performance, and ensuring that our systems are secure and compliant. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructures and services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software deployment.
• Automate operational tasks and improve system reliability through robust monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the SDLC.
• Manage security and compliance across all environments.
• Provide troubleshooting support and resolve system-related issues efficiently.
• Document processes, provides training materials, and assist with mentoring junior DevOps staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar.
• Expertise in cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD toolsets like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Hands-on experience with containers using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Experience in agile methodologies and collaborative teamwork.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Effective communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
