This is a critical national issue, and we want to work with those who share our passion for the mission and willingness to attack complex and novel problems. 

Job Description
You will build, test, and deploy both network and endpoint detections to protect Galvanick’s customers.

Skills

  • Deep technical understanding of wired and wireless network protocols and traffic analysis, and Windows and Linux based hosts.
  • 5+ years experience in intrusion detection, threat hunting, offensive security, or adversary emulation.
  • Experience developing detection use cases using a SIEM (e.g Splunk, Elastic), big data/data lake query platforms (e.g. Apache Spark), or relational database.
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with embedded Windows and Linux variants a plus.
  • Experience with industrial, operational, or fulfillment environments a plus.

Location
The Galvanick team is split between Seattle and Los Angeles. Given that we are an early-stage startup working on an exceptionally hard problem, we expect new team members to be in one of those cities. If you have to move, we're happy to help pay for relocation expenses.
