• Automating workflows to improve identification and response times for security events.
• Building and optimising detection rules to ensure focus on high-value alerts.
• Creating and maintaining runbooks and incident playbooks for new and existing detections.
• Leading threat hunting practices and identifying product and infrastructure signals to surface attacks.
• Creating and refining detections, workflows, and playbooks to accelerate incident response.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering teams across the studio.

What we’re looking for

• 8+ years’ experience as a security engineer, including monitoring, incident response, and threat hunting in cloud environments.
• Demonstrable expertise in AWS security controls and services.
• Proven ability to lead complex investigations involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience coding for automation, alert enrichment, and detection development.

• Knowledge of adversary TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK principles.
• Experience with OS internals and forensics across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience developing tooling using DevOps technologies and programming languages.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments, operations, and SaaS engineering practices.
