 About the role
The Senior Desktop & Infrastructure Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for supporting daily IT operations across endpoint computing, infrastructure platforms, networking, and cloud-connected systems. This role ensures reliable and secure IT services for corporate users, manufacturing teams, engineering labs, and executive staff. 
The position requires strong troubleshooting ability, operational discipline, and a customer-first mindset to maintain stable IT services in fast-paced office and production environments. The engineer works within established IT standards and security practices while collaborating with infrastructure and cloud teams. 
What you will do
Endpoint & Desktop Support 
  • Support full lifecycle of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices 
  • Provision, deploy, and patch endpoints 
  • Maintain endpoint security and compliance using Microsoft Intune and Active Directory 
  • Provide L2–L3 troubleshooting for OS, applications, and hardware 
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes 
  • Deliver white-glove support for executives and critical staff 
Manufacturing & Lab Support 
  • Provide IT support for manufacturing floors and engineering labs 
  • Maintain connectivity and uptime for lab and production systems 
  • Support IT readiness for new lab or production setups 
  • Assist with specialized device connectivity and user support 
Infrastructure & Virtualization 
  • Support VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN environments 
  • Support Nutanix AHV and Prism platforms 
  • Perform VM provisioning and routine maintenance 
  • Assist with backup and recovery activities 
  • Monitor performance and escalate capacity concerns 
Cloud & AWS Support 
  • Support AWS-hosted workloads and hybrid environments 
  • Assist with basic Infrastructure-as-Code deployments (Terraform/CloudFormation) 
  • Monitor AWS resource availability and utilization 
  • Support containerized workloads in EKS when required 
Network Support 
  • Assist with switches, routers, and wireless networks 
  • Support Cisco and Meraki environments 
  • Perform basic SD-WAN troubleshooting 
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues 
  • Assist with new site IT and network setups 
  • Install new Cisco switches from the scratch 
  • Configure Aruba access points 
  • Setup Meraki part of the network infrastructure 
Network Security & Core Services 
  • Support NAC solutions such as Forescout 
  • Assist with DNS/DHCP/IPAM using Infoblox 
  • Support network segmentation and access policies 
  • Assist with vulnerability remediation tasks 

Identity & Core IT Services 

  • Support Active Directory and Group Policies 
  • Troubleshoot authentication and access issues 
  • Support DNS, DHCP, and LDAP services 
  • Maintain file and print services 
Service Management 
  • Work tickets in JIRA or ITSM tools 
  • Meet SLA response and resolution targets 
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions 
  • Follow change management and IT processes 
Who you are and What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 4–8+ years of enterprise IT support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints and infrastructure
  • Experience with virtualization platforms
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Comfortable working in onsite manufacturing environments 
Preferred Skills 
  • Exposure to AWS environments and IaC tools 
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or other MDM tools 
  • Familiarity with Forescout and Infoblox 
  • IT certifications (Microsoft, VMware, AWS, CompTIA) 
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Python

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $162,000. This salary range may be modified in the future. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, education or training, work location, and market conditions. This position is also eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
