Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design of product features – including discovery, ideation, prototyping and polished UI

Collaborate with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation

Run lightweight research and usability testing

Partner with product and business stakeholders to define problems, scope, and solutions

Contribute to brand design needs, including marketing visuals, campaign assets, and sales decks

Ensure visual consistency across brand and product touchpoints

What We Are Looking For

4+ years of experience in a senior design role in a fast-paced startup environment 

Portfolio of shipped work showing strong visual and interaction design. We’re looking for clarity, craft, and business impact – not just conceptual work

Experience designing thoughtful user journeys and edge cases across multi-step workflows—not just screens

An exceptional eye for visual design—typography, layout, hierarchy, and polish matter deeply to you

Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Webflow

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to articulate design concepts and gain buy-in from stakeholders.

Experience with design systems, programming, or AI technical tools (optional but valued)

Candidates are required to be located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX - Way is building a workplace environment of team members who are passionate and excited to be together in person at its space in Austin to continue to enable our fast-paced growth trajectory
