Gen AI Creative (Motion Design Background)

We’re seeking a GenAI Creative with Senior Motion Designer background. If this role were a Venn diagram, you’d be in the sweet spot, blending AI, motion graphics, and design. Your portfolio shines with work that fuses AI-driven visuals, kinetic typography, UI animation, and clean storytelling. 

You will create social-first content for one of the world’s leading tech innovators, with early access to some of the most advanced AI tools before they are public. You will go beyond creating content, developing tutorials, cheat codes, and innovative workflows, mixing tools in unexpected ways to push the limits of what is possible when design meets AI. From jaw-dropping generative art to polished UI animations, your work will inspire creators and show the world what the future of AI powered design can do.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Concept and design social-first content—AI-generated visuals, animations, and short-form videos that resonate across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
• Explore, experiment, and prototype with emerging AI tools—generating image, video, motion, and interactive concepts that push creative boundaries.
• Lead visual experimentation with emerging AI tools (e.g., Veo3, Midjourney, Runway, Sora, Stable Diffusion) to create trend-setting content.
• Develop and maintain a visual identity for our AI-focused storytelling, ensuring every post is instantly recognizable and on-brand.
• Collaborate with marketing and comms to craft campaigns that blend creative excellence with strategic messaging.
• Mentor designers in AI-driven creative processes (creating and sharing tutorials, cheat codes, and experiments).
• Advise and educate the broader team on AI design tools, ethical considerations, and best practices.
• Ability to work quickly and produce prototypes and mocks in short timelines while maintaining the aesthetics of timing, easing, and storyline
• Maintain a high bar for craft, ensuring all design outputs are visually exceptional, on-brand, and strategically aligned.

Requirements

• This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in office required. You must reside in one of our US office locations: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or Miami
• 6+ years in design, art direction, or visual storytelling roles, ideally within creative agencies, studios, or forward-thinking brands.
• A world-class portfolio showcasing both traditional design mastery and AI-generated creative work.
• Deep proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, motion/3D software) and expertise with AI creative tools (e.g., Google Flow, Midjourney, Runway, Stable Diffusion, Sora, DALL·E, Kaiber, etc.).
• Background in motion design, animation, creative coding, XR/AR/VR, and/or generative art.
• Familiarity with ethical AI practices and accessibility standards.
• Proven ability to concept and execute across formats—static, motion, experiential, and interactive.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-evolving spaces, with a bias toward experimentation and rapid iteration.

$85,000 - $100,000
