Role Description

As a Senior Design Strategist with a background in the financial services industry, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing projects at the intersection of design, business, and product development while championing design values and processes. You will be involved throughout the entire product conception phase, ensuring that projects meet standards of quality, punctuality, and efficiency. Your expertise in establishing and improving processes will be essential in delivering innovative and impactful design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project estimation, planning, and briefing with advanced prioritization and efficiency skills, ensuring final design delivery is on time and meets high standards of quality.
• Introduce, educate, and establish new design processes to support effective project and design team setup.
• Continuously improve design operations through ongoing process enhancement.
• Create value streams and understand their impact on business decision-making, helping to drive strategic outcomes.
• Conduct requirement analysis and demonstrate advanced knowledge of both the financial services industry and technical requirements.
• Provide strategic leadership in workshops, including preparation, facilitation, and documentation.
• Promote a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven track record of working across various design disciplines (e.g., Product Design, Service Design, User Research, etc.)
• Expertise in project management, including estimation, planning, and briefing
• Strong skills in prioritization and efficiency management
• Experience as a Design Consultant or UX Consultant is a strong advantage
• Experience in the financial services industry is a significant plus

Education

• Educational background in Design, Business, Finance, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in design strategy, consulting, and project management within the financial services industry
