Cross Border Talents are in search of a Senior Design Engineer Digital Electronics for one of our clients based in the Netherlands.
The company in question is a renowned Dutch agency specialized in the recruitment and relocation of technical specialists for the Netherlands. Some of the names they work with include clients like ASML, VDL, DAF Trucks, Siemens and many more.
Currently, for one of their projects for an international company that manufactures electronics and provides services to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)., they are looking for a Senior Design Engineer Digital Electronics.
As a Senior Design Engineer you have the opportunity to develop within the Electrical Engineering discipline. You are part of a multidisciplinary team in an international environment, contributing to the setup of the total (sub-)system. Within this team, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying complex analog circuits in these systems.
Some of your responsibilities in this role will be to:
- You are responsible for designing, simulating, implementing, and verifying digital circuits in collaboration with other disciplines such as mechanical and embedded software development;
- You are the point of contact for engineers from our customers in your field of expertise;
- You create designs that meet requirements for EMC, testability, reliability, and producibility;
- You specify circuits, document them and determine which tests are needed;
- You make estimates for planning and communicate about technical progress to the project manager;
- You can manage some junior engineers in their daily work.
Requirements
- With a completed HBO or WO degree in Electronics;
- With more than 10 years of experience as a designer in the development of digital circuits within product development;
- Quality-driven, takes initiative, and strives for the best technical solution.
- You have experience in using tools for designing digital circuits, such as simulations with Hyperlinx for high-speed interfaces;
- You have experience in designing circuits with controllers, processors, CPLDs, and FPGAs;
- You have experience with interfaces such as RS485, I2C, SPI, USB, and CAN and Ethernet;
- You are proficient in using measurement equipment;
- You have basic knowledge of software and mechatronics;
- Finally, you have good oral and written communication skills for technical product documentation in English.
