Senior Delivery Manager

THE ROLE
You will report to the design manager of the area, and this role is for a designer with some knowledge of working within a multidisciplinary team (design, engineering, and product management). As a Junior Product Designer, you must have a good knowledge of design methods and practices to help your team understand how to meet our user needs. You will have technical understanding of web/app UI and interaction design to ensure that the experience our users have when using our products is appropriate, effective, and coherent.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage the full project life cycle ensuring that project scope, milestones, and deliverables meet the needs of the project stakeholders
Act as a thought partner to stakeholders, challenging requirements, identifying gaps, and proposing improved approaches where needed
Assess and identify the potential risks that may affect each project and implement strategies for its mitigation
Build relevant project documents (charter, scope, project plans, status reporting, RACI, RAIDs, or others) following Farfetch's Delivery Management Framework throughout the project lifecycle
Identify, define and track meaningful success metrics (KPIs) to measure impact and inform decision-making
Closely work with tech teams members (architecture, engineering, product, QA's, etc) to ensure the successful delivery of the initiatives, tracking progress, monitoring risks and managing dependencies
Evaluate all deviations and propose improvement plans/actions and measure activity performance against the baseline plans
Keep an effective communication during the whole project
Manage top management stakeholders, both from tech areas and business areas
Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices, bringing best practices from high-performing environments.
WHO YOU ARE
A professional with, at least 5, years' experience in Delivery Management
Experienced in high-performance environments (e.g. Big Tech or similar scale/complexity), with exposure to complex, cross-functional initiatives
Able to manage multiple projects/deadlines, identifying the necessary steps and moving forward through completion
Able to easily build relationships with the different players of the tech and business areas, at different levels of the organization
A professional with good attention to detail, an ability to assimilate, sort through and aggregate complex information
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguity and propose structured solutions
Comfortable challenging the status quo in a constructive and collaborative manner
Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and support decision-making
A professional fluent in both Portuguese and English.
