What is the role about?

As a Senior DBA, you will:

• Administer and support Oracle 19c databases in RAC and Data Guard environments

• Manage PostgreSQL databases (10.x–15.x) across on-prem and cloud platforms

• Support 24×7 production operations with strict SLAs

• Perform performance tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning

• Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, patching, and DR strategies

• Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters

• Deploy and support database workloads on Kubernetes

• Implement monitoring, alerting, backup, and recovery strategies

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and onsite stakeholders

Your Role at a Glance

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes, backed by solid Linux administration skills.
In this role, you will manage and support highly available, mission-critical production environments, handle complex escalations, and ensure database reliability, performance, and security across on-premise and cloud platforms (OCI / AWS / Azure).

Required skills and qualifications

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Oracle DBA expertise (19c, RAC, Data Guard, Performance Tuning)

• PostgreSQL Administration (Backup, Replication, PITR, Migration)

• Kubernetes (Production clusters, networking, storage, monitoring)

• Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills

• Scripting experience (Shell / Bash / Python)

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS/Azure exposure

• Experience with cloud networking, security, and HA architectures

• Hands-on experience with backup, monitoring, and logging tools

• Familiarity with RDS / PaaS database services and Multi-AZ setups
