Senior Data Specialist

A leading entity in the construction and real estate sector is on the lookout for a Senior Data Specialist. The primary objective is to architect and implement comprehensive HR data integrations connecting Workday with a Snowflake data lake and AWS-powered AI layers, ensuring seamless data flow and security across systems.

This role is pivotal in developing an enterprise-grade HR data platform, focusing on creating robust, scalable integrations between Workday and external systems like Snowflake and AWS. The project aims to enhance HR operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. The specialist will navigate complex data environments, ensuring integrations are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and document Workday integration architecture for HR, Payroll, and Absencemodules.
• Build and optimize Workday RaaS reports for efficient data ingestion into Snowflake.
• Implement REST API endpoints with OAuth 2.0 authentication and pagination.
• Configure SOAP write operations and domain-specific ISUs with minimal privilege access.
• Establish a comprehensive audit log for all write operations to ensure traceability.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Workday integration patterns (READ and WRITE) and Workday Studio.
• Strong experience with AWS, Snowflake, and OAuth 2.0 configurations.
• Familiarity with SOAP and REST web services, including security and authorization setups.
• Ability to map Workday fields to Snowflake schema accurately.
• Experience in setting up and configuring ISUs and ISSGs per Workday best practices.
