We are looking for Senior Data Scientist.

Location: Remote (CET working hours), candidate needs to be located in one of the following countries:

  • Europe: ALB, HRV, CYP, CZE, DNK, EST, FIN, GRC, ISL, LTU, LVA, MLT, DEU, NOR, POL, ROU, SRB, SVK, SVN, SWE, HUN
  • Asia: AZE, GEO, ISR, JPN, KAZ

Engagement: minimum 6-month duration and likely extension; full-time

Contract type: B2B only

Salary rate: 36–45 EUR/hour

Responsibilities

  • Diving into our client's data to solve crucial business problems. The scope of this role is to ensure the development of MMM from their third party vendors goes as planned, data is correct and used appropriately, the model development is robust and appropriately validated, an experimentation plan is drawn and measurement is taken care of.
  • Use statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and experimentation to validate findings and drive business outcomes.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis and present data to uncover business drivers and insights beyond the numbers.
  • Build analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards; perform ad-hoc data analyses using tools like SQL, R, or Python.
  • Identify and measure levers to enhance metrics; make actionable recommendations.
  • Offer clarity in ambiguous environments and collaborate across multiple teams and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ensure flow of learnings between the "external" and "internal" model.

Requirements


Must-haves:

    • 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, consulting, or related quantitative field.
    • Skills in SQL queries, predictive modeling with Python or R.
    • Proficiency in experimentation techniques, including causal inference and A/B testing, with experience in experiment design and statistical analysis, with the ability to define success metrics and implement measurement strategies.
    • Experience within the Marketing domain (especially with attribution and MMM modeling).
    • A creative and critical mindset, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments to resolve ambiguous problems using a structured, hypothesis-driven, and data-supported approach.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence both technical and non-technical audiences and ability to lead strategic projects to completion with cross-functional teams.
    • Data analysis skills: strong data analysis skills to work with large datasets and ensure that the models are accurate and reliable.
    • Communication skills: be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including vendors, analytics teams, and business stakeholders.
    • Very good command of written and spoken English (C1) is required.
