We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.

About your role

Juniper Square is seeking a Senior Data Product Services Manager to lead the strategic data evolution for our Fund Administration clients. This is a high-impact, consultative role designed for someone with deep experience in understanding the intricate world of Fund Accounting and knows how to translate complex financial data into actionable Business Intelligence.

In this role, you will act as a strategic architect and consultant. You will partner with external stakeholders and internal Fund Accounting teams to understand how data flows out of systems like Investran and into our Insights product. You will define the requirements and strategy, build sophisticated visualization layers within our business intelligence platform, and work alongside our Analytics Engineering team to bring your architectural visions to life.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the primary data consultant for Fund Administration clients, helping them navigate complex reporting requirements and transition from data collection to strategic insights.

  • Build and maintain sophisticated dashboards within the business intelligence environment that provide clear, actionable insights for complex fund structures.

  • Enable transformative business value by prioritizing a best-in-class implementation and customized training to curating long-term analytics strategies.

  • Partner with Juniper Square Fund Accountants to map data outputs from Investran into the Insights platform, ensuring financial accuracy and reporting integrity.

  • Design the blueprints for custom fund structures and non-templated reporting use-cases, acting as a subject matter expert to ensure data models reflect the reality of private market accounting.

  • Translate ambiguous business needs into high-fidelity technical specifications for the Analytics Engineering team.

  • Integrate AI tools such as Claude and Gemini into daily workflows to rapidly prototype solutions, summarize complex fund documents, and draft technical requirements to significantly improve delivery speed.

  • Guide clients through unique or complex projects, influencing their technical roadmap and providing cost and benefit analyses for custom builds.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Advisory, or Fund Administration.

  • Deep understanding of Private Markets, specifically Fund Administration workflows.

  • Proficiency in major BI tools (such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI) with a specific focus on building dashboards and curating environments for end-users.

  • Proven ability to manage senior external stakeholders by translating business needs into technical data specifications and actionable enablement programs.

  • Direct experience or familiarity with Investran data outputs and fund accounting schemas.

  • Demonstrated ability or strong interest in using AI models to accelerate requirements gathering and technical documentation.

  • Ability to work independently as a DRI for complex projects, managing critical project delivery and ensuring high-quality, accurate delivery on complex builds.
