Opportunity!

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our engineering team and help clients design, build, and scale advanced data solutions. You will work on large-scale, production-grade data systems, support AI and machine learning initiatives, and translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive business and product decisions.

This role requires strong technical depth, the ability to operate in research-heavy and ambiguous environments, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams across product, data, and validation functions.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python, Snowflake, and Tableau
• Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and probability distributions
• Experience working with machine learning tools and algorithms
• Proven ability to analyze large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
• Hands-on experience building robust, flexible data pipelines in production environments
• Experience integrating data across multiple systems and sources, including APIs and external platforms
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, data, and validation contexts
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance in ambiguous or research-heavy environments
• Daily overlap with US Eastern Time Zone
• Reliable high-speed internet and ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment

Bonus points:

• Experience with AI/LLM evaluation frameworks or tooling (e.g., HealthBench, Label Studio, or similar platforms)
• Prior work on AI safety, validation, or evaluation methodologies in regulated or high-risk domains
• Experience designing or evaluating LLM-based systems, including automated evaluation approaches (e.g., LLM-as-Judge)
• Background in health AI, clinical data, or healthcare analytics
• Experience productionizing AI or data science research concepts
• Strong stakeholder communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
