Who are you?
Do you have experience as a Data Engineer applying modern development ways of working (testing, iterative delivery, XP, DevOps…)?
Do you think the data platform should be easy to consume and easy to evolve even for “non-data” people?
This role is for you.
About the role🤓
You will join the Data Platform team to help us pivot from being the ones that executes to being an enabler. Our mission is to build a Self-Service Data Platform as a Product, removing the friction for our Advanced users, Analysts, Scientists and Software Engineers.
You won’t just be building pipelines; you will be building the automated guardrails and tooling that allow every business unit to own their data lifecycle—from ingestion to discovery—autonomously. We are evolving our current stack (Airbyte, Airflow, dbt, S3, Redshift, Metabase, OpenMetadata) into a robust, "secure-by-default" ecosystem that scales with the company’s growth.
What challenges you'll be solving 🚀
Decouple Data Operations: Transition our architecture from "centralized execution" to "centralized enablement," allowing teams to modify data models or ingestion frequencies Fully autonomously.
Compliance as Code: Programmatically enforce data quality, lineage, and PII anonymization to ensure the platform is compliant by design.
Infrastructure Excellence: Improve the efficiency and reliability of our global data movement, ensuring our stack (Redshift/S3/Airflow) is optimized for performance and cost.
Advocate Best Practices: Act as a bridge between Data and software, bringing DevOps rigor (CI/CD, testing, observability) and development XP practices to the data world.
What we offer 😎
We have a strong and sustainable foundation, where we provide a secure and reliable workplace. You have the freedom and trust to make the best contribution possible.
One of our most valued strengths by our employees is our fellowship and supportive culture, which fosters a sense of belonging by working closely with our values. With us, you will have challenging projects to work on and push your skills and knowledge.
