Scale Tech is hiring on behalf of a leading fintech client that is transforming into a fully data-driven digital neobank. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of their Data Warehouse and Data Architecture, ensuring scalability and supporting ambitious growth across multiple markets.
What you'll do
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the data warehouse and data architecture, ensuring scalability and efficiency
Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for analytical and operational needs
Develop and manage data integrations across internal and external systems
Ensure high data quality and strong data governance through validation and monitoring best practices
Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, accessible data
Use Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, dbt, and Apache Superset to build and enhance data infrastructure
Required experience:
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery
Experience using dbt for data transformation and modeling
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Practical experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
Familiarity with Apache Superset or other data visualization tools
Experience with modern development tools (Git, Jira, Docker, etc.)
Experience in banking or fintech is an advantage
