Accountabilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines for Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions.

·         Implement ETL frameworks and enforce best practices to improve code quality, maintainability, and reliability.

·         Develop cloud-native automation routines, data schemas, and workflows to support predictive and prescriptive analytics.

·         Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and validation of all data processing and reporting activities.

·         Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to communicate technical solutions clearly.

·         Mentor and guide junior data engineers, acting as a technical owner of key parts of the data platform.

·         Support the adoption of DevOps practices and containerized, cloud-based deployment processes.

Requirements

·         7+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in data engineering, business intelligence, or similar roles.

·         Expert knowledge of Python and SQL.

·         5+ years of experience with ETL orchestration and workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow, Flink) on AWS or GCP.

·         3+ years of experience with distributed data processing tools (Spark, Presto) and streaming technologies (Kafka, Flink).

·         3+ years of experience with big data platforms such as Snowflake and cloud service providers (AWS preferred).

·         Expertise with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes.

·         MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred (BS acceptable).

·         Experience with DevOps practices, cloud-native design, and data validation methodologies.

·         Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills to guide technical teams effectively.
