Requirements

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data,
  • Implement robust workflows for batch and real-time data processing using modern frameworks and tools,
  • Develop and optimize data architectures, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability,
  • Design data integration strategies to consolidate data from multiple sources into a centralized repository,
  • Build and manage data warehouses or data lakes, optimizing them for analytics and reporting needs,
  • Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation to support business intelligence and data science teams,
  • Implement processes to monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy,
  • Continuously monitor, debug, and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions for efficiency and reliability,
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering,
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities,
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders,
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement,


Technical skills:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a Data Engineering role with demonstrated expertise in building and managing scalable data pipelines, architectures, and systems,
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, R,
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning,
  • Proficiency in big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka,
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra),
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery,
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services like S3, Lambda, EMR, or Databricks,
  • Proficiency with Git for version control and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for deploying data solutions,
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or similar to track data pipeline performance
