Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary 

As a Senior Data Engineer (17240), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects, mentoring junior engineers, and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.  

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures using modern technologies like Spark, Airflow, and Redshift.
  
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all data systems and workflows.
  
• Automate and optimize data processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Skills  

• Professional/ Advanced English skills. 
• Strong experience in data engineering, with expertise in building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.
  
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data technologies such as Spark, Airflow, and Redshift (or similar).
  
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data warehousing concepts.
  
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, focusing on automation, scalability, and system reliability.
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
