Senior Data Engineer

Role Overview:

Build and maintain the company’s data infrastructure to ensure reliable, scalable, and well-structured data flows that power analytics, reporting, and decision-making. 

Key responsibilities 

• Design and build automated data pipelines from multiple business systems 

• Develop and maintain the data warehouse architecture 

• Clean, transform, and structure raw data into analytics-ready datasets 

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity 

• Optimize data performance and scalability 

• Collaborate with BI analysts to support reporting and analytics needs 

• Implement monitoring and quality checks for data pipelines 

• Document data models and workflows 

• Support governance and data best practices 

Requirements

Required technical skills 

• 9+ Years of experience as data engineer

• Strong SQL expertise 

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools 

• Data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or equivalent) 

• Scripting (Python preferred) 

• Data modeling fundamentals 

• Version control workflows 

• Performance optimization 

Nice to have 

• Cloud data environments 

• API integrations 

• Workflow orchestration tools 

• Exposure to BI platforms
