(Senior) Data Engineer (all genders)

Your responsibilities

• Supporting the development of reliable data platforms and architectures in agile customer projects
• Collaborating on the design and implementation of data solutions, both on-premise and in the cloud – with guidance from experienced colleagues.
• Assisting in building data pipelines and transforming data to support business needs and processes.
• Contributing to the integration of data from various systems to ensure consistency and accessibility.
• Working closely with Software Engineers and Cloud Architects in Germany as part of cross-functional teams.

Your profile

• Practical experience and strong interest in Data Engineering and working with modern data architectures.
• Awareness of the importance of data quality and a willingness to learn about Data Strategy and Data Governance.
• Hands-on skills in Python, data pipelines (ETL/ELT), data modeling, and working with SQL/NoSQL databases or data warehouses.
• Basic understanding or first-hand experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and basic DevOps concepts – curiosity and motivation to deepen this knowledge are key.
• Interest in working with SaaS data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience with data ingestion from various sources (APIs, databases) and ensuring data quality
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills, e.g. to present your work, explain technical topics, and engage with clients
• Very good English and Portuguese language skills (C1); German is a plus but not required.
