Senior Data Analyst, Trading Product (AI-Native)

About the Opportunity

Our Trading Product Group leads the design of all the products on OKX's derivatives trading exchange, including spot trading, spot margin, futures, leveraged tokens, trading options etc. As OKX accelerates its AI transformation, this role will focus on building AI-enabled analytics capabilities that automate repetitive data work and scale business decision-making. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AI implementation, including LLMs, RAG, NL2SQL, and agent-based workflows, and brings a strong AI product mindset with the ability to turn analysis into reusable, production-ready solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for the overall business analysis of trading products.
• Implement data-driven approaches to find the optimal solution for business growth, from the perspectives of market share, company revenue, user transaction costs, etc.
• Design agent-based workflows to automate analysis tasks such as anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and recurring reporting.
• Structure and maintain knowledge bases to support RAG-based retrieval and reuse of analytical insights.
• Develop and improve existing data analysis tools, including automated data reporting mechanisms, automatic data alarm system and dashboard, to improve efficiency of fetching and analyzing data.
• Ability to dive into the business, to dig into key-points and problems, to build data models independently, to output data reports regularly, and to identify business issues in a timely manner.
• Carry out analysis projects independently with concrete conclusions and feasible schemes, as well as drive the implementation of business decisions.

What We Look For In You:

• At least 4 years experience in data analysis or business analysis for Internet companies, able to independently take charge of medium and large scale analysis projects.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI solutions in real business settings, not limited to experimentation or proof-of-concept work.
• Experience with LLM applications such as NL2SQL, RAG, prompt-based workflows, or AI agents.
• Have good data sensitivity to extract core metrics/indexes from business logic/user scenarios , and to draw conclusions from massive amounts of data.Skilled in mainstream data analysis tools such as Hive, SQL, Tableau, Python, etc.
• Possess rigorous logical thinking and are skilled at organizing and coordinating resources to solve problems and achieve collaborative goals between departments.
• You're proactive, self-driven, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with others as a part of a team.
• Have experience in trading financial products such as stocks, funds, forex, futures, options.
• Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English for liaising with counterparts in Mandarin speaking markets.
