Senior Data Analyst (REF4032E)

Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling: Creating and editing complex data models.
• Data Analysis: Evaluating and interpreting large datasets to support informed business decisions.
• Report Creation: Designing and creating detailed reports.
• Process Optimization: Identifying areas for continuous improvement in business processes.
• SQL Skills: Applying advanced SQL skills for data processing.
• Presentation: Presenting analysis results and reports to stakeholders.
• Data Visualization: Using tools for exploratory analysis and visualization of business processes.
• Data Collection, Aggregation, and Preparation: Ability to identify data sources and collect and structure the necessary data.
• Connecting Data Sources: Using programs like MySQL, SAP HANA DB, Access, and Excel.
• Development of Data Transformations: Applying Python (e.g., numpy), SQL, or similar tools for data transformation.
• Report Generation: Using Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud for reporting.
• Programming Skills: Programming knowledge in Python, especially regarding projects within T-Digital, is advantageous.
• AI Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence is required.

Additional Tasks:

• Data Identification: The person should be familiar with Telekom’s booking systems, understand the data contained in them, what it means, and how they are interconnected (e.g., how to track a booking across different systems using various identifiers).
• Interfaces: Ideally, the person knows the interfaces to these systems and how to extract data from them.
• Data Storage in a Data Warehouse: Knowledge of how to store such data in a data warehouse.
• Data "Refinement": Familiarity with systems where dashboards can be built, such as MS Power BI.
• Collecting Requirements: Gathering requirements from different groups (Management, Product Managers, FC, etc.) on what data is needed from processes.
• Dashboard Creation: Creating dashboards based on data from the data warehouse and making them available to stakeholders.
• Dashboard Maintenance/Updates: Developing and updating dashboards, collecting requirements, and implementing them.

Requirements:

• Education: Completed studies in Business Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience: Professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar field.
• Knowledge: Solid knowledge of SQL, Python, R, and other relevant data analysis tools, as well as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills to explain complex results clearly.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams.
• Language: Knowledge of German is beneficial, but not mandatory.
