🌟 About the Role

As our Data Analyst, you will own and lead the end-to-end sales forecasting process, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and strong communication with all internal stakeholders. You will build and maintain data models, pipelines and dashboards, drive analytical deep dives across the business, and act as the central point of truth for sales expectations and trends.

You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and Leadership — influencing decision-making at the highest level and continually improving our forecasting systems, tools and data structure.



🎯 What You’ll Do

🔮 Forecasting — Your Core Mission

  • Lead the full monthly sales forecasting cycle, from data gathering to stakeholder alignment.
  • Maintain and improve forecasting models using SQL (and Python as a plus).
  • Produce clear forecast updates with risks, opportunities and required actions.
  • Monitor accuracy and identify root causes of variances.
  • Support the company’s forecasting process for both the U.S. and European markets, including participating in cross-regional alignment meetings when required.

📈 Analytics & Insights

  • Extract and clean data from multiple sources (SQL, BigQuery, CSVs, Shopify, NetSuite).
  • Deliver analyses for Finance, Sales, Operations and DTC performance.
  • Ensure data quality, transparency and reproducibility.

📊 Dashboards & Reporting

  • Build and maintain dashboards (SQL + dbt + BI tools).
  • Improve Google Sheets/Excel tools and automation.
  • Translate complex data into sharp, actionable insights.

🛠 Data Engineering & Governance

  • Build and maintain data pipelines with SQL & dbt.
  • Ensure version control with GitHub and proper documentation.
  • Maintain high data quality and consistency.

🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and Leadership.
  • Communicate insights clearly and proactively highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Serve as the central coordinator for the forecasting process


🧠 What You Bring

🎓 Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Computer Science — or equivalent professional experience in Data/BI.

💼 Professional Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in data analysis, BI, analytics or related functions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, dbt, dashboard/reporting tools, and GitHub for version control.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Must be comfortable working with U.S. time zones, as part of the forecast cycle and stakeholder alignment.

⭐ Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with forecasting, Python, BigQuery, Shopify, NetSuite, Fivetran or BI tools (Looker, PowerBI, Hex, Omni…).
  • Understanding of basic financial concepts and simple statistical models.

🛠 Technical & Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead stakeholder meetings.
  • The candidate must be available to occasionally attend later alignment meetings scheduled in U.S. hours, collaborating closely with team members based in both the U.S. and the EU.

  • Critical thinking and an analytical mindset.
  • Great organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proactivity in improving processes and solving problems.
