Position Overview 

We are looking for a Senior D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (FSCM) Developer with specific experience in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Project Management modules. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and enhancement of D365 FSCM solutions, working closely with ISV builds and implementations. 


Responsibilities 

 

Development & Solution Design 

  • Lead end-to-end development of custom solutions in D365 Finance & Operations (F&O), including design, coding, testing, and deployment, with a focus on AP, AR, and Project Management functionality
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical specifications. 
  • Develop and enhance components using X++, Power Platform (Power Automate, Logic Apps), Azure services, and Microsoft Copilot. 

Integration & Data Management 

  • Build and maintain integrations using Data Entities, OData, DMF (including recurring integrations), Business Events, and entity-based integrations (BYOD, Synapse, Data Lake), ensuring financial and project-related data flows are optimized
  • Utilize tools like Postman or SoapUI for testing and validating APIs and services. 
  • Support data migration and transformation processes. 

Environment & Lifecycle Management 

  • Manage all D365 environments (production, staging, test, development), including refreshes, backups, and scheduled maintenance. 
  • Use Azure DevOps and LCS for application lifecycle management, including branching strategies, build pipelines, and deployments. 
  • Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of production jobs. 

Testing, Documentation & Security 

  • Implement unit testing and support test automation using RSAT and related tools. 
  • Apply role-based security and XDS policies to ensure secure access control. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment guides. 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement 

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, bridging technical and business perspectives. 
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. 
  • Stay current with Microsoft technologies and recommend enhancements to improve platform performance, scalability, and user experience.

What Is Needed to Succeed in The Role? 

 

Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field 
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Dynamics AX and D365 Finance & Operations (FSCM), including AP, AR, and Project Management modules 
  • Experience with AP/AR workflows and Project Accounting integrations in D365 FSCM 
  • Strong proficiency in X++, extensions, and customizations within D365 F&O 
  • Experience managing D365 environments and working with Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS) 
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, Azure services, and Microsoft Copilot 
  • Experience with test-driven development and unit testing frameworks 
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems and core business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) 
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions 
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in English (spoken and written) 
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning 



Nice to have 

  • Microsoft D365 FSCM certifications 
  • Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, Dual-write, and Copilot 
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices 
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and integration patterns 
  • Experience with data migration and transformation processes 
  • Understanding of advanced D365 concepts (DirParty, financial/inventory dimensions, organization hierarchies)
